I'm a huge fan of SUITS — not just for the sharp suits and one-liners, but for what it represents: preparation meeting opportunity, confidence backed by competence, and unwavering integrity. The show's core is about having your team's back, showing up when it matters, and delivering beyond what's asked.
Harvey Specter's line, "I don't have dreams, I have goals," captures how I approach engineering. I set clear objectives, do the homework, and execute with precision. But more than that, I believe in building solutions that go beyond requirements — understanding what the system truly needs, not just what's on the ticket.
Complex distributed systems? Data pipeline failures? Tight deadlines? Bring them on — I've prepared for this, and I'll have my team's back while we solve it.
When I'm not debugging microservices, I'm experimenting with Indian cuisine — the spicier, the better. There's something satisfying about getting the heat just right in a good curry, much like balancing performance and reliability in production systems.
Self-help and philosophy keep me grounded. The Alchemist remains my favorite — its message about pursuing your purpose with conviction resonates deeply. I balance that with technical deep-dives on distributed systems and system design.
Boston's café scene — always hunting for the perfect espresso. Long walks where design decisions somehow become clearer. And sunflowers 🌻 — they turn toward the light no matter what, a reminder to stay optimistic and keep growing.
